Frequently Asked Legal Questions

Yes. Diabetes Fighters' Trust holds a valid Section 80G certificate issued by the Income Tax Department of India. You are entitled to claim a 50% deduction on the donated amount from your taxable income. This applies to individuals, Hindu Undivided Families (HUFs), and companies donating in Indian Rupees.

After your donation is confirmed, email us at dfighterstrust@gmail.com with your full name, donation amount, date of donation, and PAN number. We will issue your official 80G receipt within 7 working days. The receipt will carry our Trust's PAN, registration number, and 80G certificate number — all required for your ITR filing.

12A is a registration that exempts the Trust's own income from income tax — meaning all funds received are used entirely for charitable work, not taxes. 80G is a separate certificate that benefits the donor — it allows the person donating to claim a deduction on their personal/corporate income tax. Both registrations together ensure complete transparency and maximum benefit for both parties.

Yes. Corporate donations are welcome. Companies donating under their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) mandate may be eligible for deductions under Section 80G as well as CSR reporting benefits under Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013 (depending on the activity). Please contact us at dfighterstrust@gmail.com for a formal MOU or CSR partnership agreement.

Currently, Diabetes Fighters' Trust accepts donations in Indian Rupees (INR) only. Foreign donations are governed by the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), 2010. For FCRA-related queries or international contribution interest, please reach out directly at dfighterstrust@gmail.com.

Disclaimer: The registration numbers shown above are illustrative. Please contact dfighterstrust@gmail.com to verify the latest official registration details and to request certified copies of the 80G / 12A certificates. Tax benefit applicability is subject to applicable Income Tax laws and the donor's individual circumstances. We recommend consulting your tax advisor.
